One of the main reasons why I coach is to be a part of a community that is bigger than just working out and training. Through my coaching experience I have built many solid relationships with many different types of people. I gain satisfaction in helping clients realize their true potential, showing them that they are capable of so much more than they ever thought possible.
My background is rich in sports and physical activity, including Baseball, Swimming, Water Polo, Marathon Running, Olympic Weightlifting and CrossFit/Functional Movement Training. I have been involved with Functional Movement Training/ CrossFit since 2010 where I was introduced to SealFit (a version of CrossFit geared towards Navy Seals) through a college friend. I was so intrigued at the level of fitness my friend (and many CrossFit athletes) had and I wanted to attain that level of fitness myself. Since then I have trained in the CrossFit, Weightlifting, and Gymnastics disciplines for the past 10 years, and I’ve never enjoyed my training more.
About 4 years ago I attained both my CrossFit Level 1 Certification, and my NASM-CPT Certification and began training group classes, as well as one-on-one clients. I pride myself on the strides my clients have made while working with them, from becoming stronger, to moving better, to building up confidence to tackle new challenges, to just feeling better about themselves in general.
My goal as a coach and trainer is to help people see the beauty in a healthy lifestyle, from a health and wellness standpoint, to a mental and spiritual standpoint as well. I strive to share my passion for training with others in hopes that they can find the same joy I do out of it.“
